Watermelon Seeds Preschool - Registration

The programs we are offering this Fall are:

Sprouts- 2 day/week program on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (8:30AM-11:30AM) for 3 and 4 year olds. They must have turned 3 by September 30th.

The sprout program engages a child to develop socially, physically and intellectually by given opportunities to be in a variety of settings.  In our themed centers, they can explore and interact with other children.  They have choices to play at the block center, kitchen cove, creative art corner, puzzle table, science center or sensory table.  Music and movement is also very important, many different styles are integrated.

Melons- 3 day/week program on Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings (8:30AM-11:30AM) for 4 and 5 year olds.  They must have turned 4 by September 30th.

The Pre-K program is developmentally based, with group activities, self-selected activities, an introduction to the letter of the week and exploring each month with our "World of Wonder" program themes.  The children will be learning to express their ideas through first-hand, meaningful experiences in the center areas.  Music and movement is also integrated with a variety of instruments for the children to explore.

New this year we will be following the Handwriting Without Tears program.  The "Get Set for School" program uses curriculum that includes singing, music, building, coloring and playing to build confidence in a child's beginning stages of handwriting.  Watermelon Seeds Preschool believes in a multi-sensory approach to further a students education.

Art & A Muffin-an afterschool art program from 3:00-5:00 weekday afternoons.  Two different classes, K-2 and 3rd-5th.  Days to be determined for each class starting in October.
